About Dotz Energy
Dotz Energy helps hotels and large commercial buildings reduce energy consumption, operating costs and carbon emissions. Our solutions combine high-efficiency heat pumps, smart controls and sensors, and AI-led optimisation of chillers and other major energy systems. Our commercial model is designed to minimise upfront investment for customers and align our success with the verified savings we deliver.
Dotz Energy is part of Dotz Nano Limited, a publicly listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: DTZ). As we expand our activities in Greece, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive who can build relationships, develop a high-quality pipeline and convert opportunities into long-term customer partnerships.
The role
This is a senior, market-facing role responsible for developing Dotz Energy's business across the Greek hospitality sector. The successful candidate will engage with hotel owners, operators, asset managers, general managers, technical teams and industry partners to identify suitable energy-efficiency and decarbonisation opportunities.
The role combines relationship development, consultative selling, opportunity qualification and commercial coordination. You will manage the customer journey from first contact through technical assessment, proposal, negotiation and contract execution, working closely with Dotz Energy's management and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute Dotz Energy's business-development plan for the Greek hospitality market.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of hotel groups, individual properties, resorts, owners, operators and hospitality investors.
- Establish relationships with senior decision-makers, including owners, CEOs, general managers, CFOs, sustainability leaders and chief engineers.
- Originate, qualify and prioritise opportunities based on energy profile, project potential, customer readiness and commercial fit.
- Lead the commercial sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through site assessment, proposal, negotiation and contract signature.
- Understand each customer's operating and energy challenges and translate them into a clear brief for the technical team.
- Coordinate data collection, site visits and technical assessments with hotel engineering teams and Dotz Energy's internal and external specialists.
- Prepare and present compelling customer value propositions, commercial proposals and high-level business cases.
- Develop relationships with relevant engineering firms, MEP contractors, equipment suppliers, consultants and other market partners.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, opportunity plans and regular market updates.
- Represent Dotz Energy at industry events, conferences, hotel-sector meetings and relevant professional networks in Greece.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a commercially driven, credible and well-connected professional with a strong understanding of how the Greek hospitality industry operates. The ideal candidate can open doors at senior level, build trust with both commercial and technical stakeholders, and manage a structured, consultative sales process for solutions with a measurable operational and financial impact.
Required experience & qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, key-account management or commercial partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of the Greek hospitality market, including hotel ownership, management and decision-making structures.
- A relevant network among hotel groups, owners, operators, general managers, technical directors, consultants or hospitality investors is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from origination to contract.
- Experience selling solutions or services to hotels, resorts, commercial property owners or other large organisations.
- Ability to understand and communicate commercial concepts such as energy savings, operating-cost reduction, return on investment and shared-savings models.
- Comfort working alongside engineers and technical specialists; prior experience with energy, HVAC, building systems, facilities services or sustainability solutions would be an advantage.
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Hospitality Management or another relevant field.
- Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
- Based in Greece, with flexibility to travel frequently within the country and occasionally to Cyprus or other regional markets.
Preferred background
Relevant backgrounds may include hotel groups or operators; hospitality technology and services; energy services or ESCOs; HVAC, MEP or building systems; property and facilities management; sustainability solutions; hotel development, consulting or investment; and B2B solutions serving large commercial buildings.
Key personal attributes
- Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable building a market from an early stage.
- Relationship-led, persuasive and credible with senior stakeholders.
- Commercially sharp, structured and focused on measurable outcomes.
- Able to understand technical information and communicate it in clear business language.
- Independent, organised and disciplined in pipeline and follow-up management.
- Collaborative and comfortable working across commercial, technical and leadership teams.
What we offer
- A key role in building Dotz Energy's presence in one of Europe's most important hospitality markets.
- The opportunity to work with innovative energy technologies and an international team.
- Direct exposure to leading hotel owners, operators and decision-makers.
- A performance-oriented environment with meaningful scope for responsibility and long-term growth.
